Northrop Grumman Aerospace Systems has an opening for an Electronics Engineer with a focus on Engineering Documentations, Drawings, and Responsible Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Rancho Bernardo, CA.
The selected candidate will assist with Datacenter design, documentation, drawings, deployment, and Responsible Engineering roles and will need knowledge of the existing systems.
Essential Functions:
+ Responsible for creation, delivery, execution of technical content, and systems within the IFC schedule across multiple projects
+ Developing engineering documentation for system configuration, upgrade,
+ Ability to work with commercial vendors to generate specification of hardware and quotes that will create Bill of Materials (BoMs) along with procurement processes.
+ Ability to generate Visio diagrams for Drawing rack elevation, interconnect, and parts list of the datacenter.
+ Ability to assist in creation of architecture diagrams, architectural subcomponents, and generate
+ Ability to assist ingenerate engineering documentation (Sphinx, Jinja, YAML, reST) based off architecture diagrams.
+ Familiarity with Teamcenter tools and processes.
+ Coordination between teams and IPTs on system deliveries and handoff
+ Creation Contract Deliverables related to Hardware (powerpoint + excel)
+ Executing engineering projects on schedule.
+ Collaborate with engineers to generate and redline documented procedures along with troubleshooting.
+ Implement engineering changes to the system as required
+ Responsible for integrating and testing software and/or hardware systems in complex IT systems.
+ Work closely with Engineers and Technicians in a lab environment.
+ Good planning, coordination, and documentation skills are required.

**Basic Qualifications for level Electronics Engineer:**
+ Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 2 years of STEM related engineering experience. Or 0 years of experience with a Masters Degree.
+ Experience with Visio Drawings, documentation tools (Sphinx, Jinja, YAML, reST), and executing engineering content
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance
+ Contingent on ability to gain PAR
**Basic Qualifications for level Principal Electronics Engineer:**
+ Bachelors Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline from an accredited university and 5 years of STEM related engineering experience. Or 3 Years of STEM related engineering experience with a Masters, and 0 years with a PhD.
+ Experience with Visio Drawings, documentation tools (Sphinx, Jinja, YAML, reST), and executing engineering content
+ Active DoD Secret Clearance
+ Contingent on ability to gain PAR
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Active DoD Top Secret Clearance
+ Active PAR
+ Familiarity with Jira or other issue tracking system
+ Excellent communication, interpersonal skills, and the ability to interface with all levels of employees and management
+ Ability to develop and maintain Bash and Python scripts
+ Familiarity with storage systems and basic networking
+ Familiarity with version control and Subversion
+ Ability to author and maintain technical installation, configuration, and update procedures
+ Ability to provide engineering technical support for peer teams
+ Ability to engineer and test new technical solutions and/or bug fixes in lab environments
Salary Range: $82,400.00 - $123,600.00Salary Range 2: $101,400.00 - $152,200.00
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
