Position Summary/Objective



VineBrook Homes is an internally managed real estate investment company, focused on acquiring, renovating, leasing and operating single-family homes as rental properties. An early investor and developer of the Single-Family Rental home (SFR) asset class, we commenced operations in late 2007. Our proven, yield-focused investment strategy targets a unique opportunity building a portfolio of workforce SFR assets in key secondary and tertiary markets. Our growing SFR REIT portfolio is currently comprised of approximately 21,000+ homes. VineBrook Homes is undergoing a major expansion of its strategy, expecting to drive toward 25,000+ homes.



The Vinebrook IT team aims to provide best in class and most efficient business systems environment to ensure the continued growth of our company. The Primary role of the Product Specialist is to support the development of new process, systems improvements, and training to make our business as efficient as possible. The Product Specialist will work within their assigned products to assist with the facilitation and enhancements of the business processes by working with advanced business process automation and business intelligence systems, providing solutions to ensure user adoption and development of custom applications that enrich the user and customer experience. A Product Specialist must be a highly motivated and organized individual with strong communication skills that will serve as a liaison between business departments, development and support team. You will establish a comprehensive understanding of business expectations, processes, and requirements and then assist with the management of a plan and training to meet the business goals. These processes can include leasing, retention, maintenance, collections, accounting, rehab and acquisitions.



This position will be based in Dayton, but with consideration given to remote candidates in our markets of operation.



Essential Duties and Responsibilities



  • Partners with Product Manager and leaders in assigned Silo to understand strategic growth initiatives



  • Fosters strong working relationship with Silo and Market Leaders



  • Works with Product Manager to understand the product roadmap with the overall company strategy and goals



  • Work with Engineering and Product Support teams to plan, support, and execute change within the technology



  • Communicate with the business on product priorities, release timelines, and how the products are evolving to meet strategic and operational objectives



  • Be a mentor to your assigned business team by managing communications to drive engagement, provide support and training



  • Create process models and diagrams to facilitate calls and provide direction to Business Stakeholders and Product Team



  • Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further optimizing these processes



  • Develop and deliver training and effectively communicate organizational change to all stakeholders



  • Host New Employee trainings, continuing education training, FAQ sessions and enhancement rollout training



  • Knowledge of industry best practice



Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities)



  • 3-5 years experience with Salesforce required



  • Bachelors degree some experience with project management preferrable



  • Ongoing project management and business analyst training



  • Focus on building relationships with business contacts and identifying solutions to their challenges



  • Demonstrated ability to gather user requirements and convert them into a winning project vision



  • Skilled with giving demos and leading meetings using Zoom, GoToMeeting, Skype, etc.



  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational and analytical skills, with the ability to evolve project strategy based on research, data and industry trends



  • Extremely organized, attention to detail, and persistent



  • Willingness / ability to travel up to 25% to regional offices



  • Candidate must be willing and able to work in a start-up atmosphere with a wide range of responsibilities and deal with constantly evolving deadlines, requirements and challenges
