The SAP Basis Technical Analyst is responsible for performing day-to-day technical tasks for a project, including all project activities. Duties may span all Practice Areas involved (i.e., Design/Build/Run, Operations Architecture, System Administration, Database, ERP and other technical frameworks, etc.). The SAP Basis Technical Analyst will serve as the individual providing expertise in a specific area and troubleshooting and issue resolution for moderately complex environments. The SAP Basis Technical Analyst will be a moderately experienced member of the basis technology team who will be responsible for providing support for the technical infrastructure of the SAP solution across all production stacks along with daily system monitoring and issue resolution. This individual will have the opportunities to do some project work.
The SAP BASIS Technical Analyst will
Provide technical input for all maintenance requests that are entered into project-identified change management.
Perform all activities related to technical maintenance and administration of the SAP environments
Provide DBA and limited OS support as it relates to the SAP Landscape
Provide proactive monitoring and troubleshooting of the SAP Landscape
Develop and maintain appropriate documentation for system activities and ensure change control is followed as necessary
Participate in application updates and upgrade projects
Perform system refreshes
Conduct performance tuning
Participate in on-call support rotation
Handle technology issues and escalate as necessary to expert level help
Execute projects when requested
Implement process improvement measures within the environment.

Required skills:
Minimum of 1 year of experience in Production SAP environment
Minimum of 2 years in a single area or 1+ years of experience in at least 2 of the following: SAP Basis R/3; SAP Basis Netweaver; SAP Basis BW; SAP Basis XI/PI; SAP Basis SCM ; SAP Portals; SAP ECC 6
Minimum of 1 year of RDBMS Management
Minimum of 1 year of Operating System / knowledge of system commands and structures
Bachelor's degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years) work experience. (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years work experience)
Preferred Skills:
SAP HANA Support
Understanding and experience in back-up, recovery
Experience supporting interfaces
Performance Tuning Experience
Understanding of BW, R/3 and CRM integration
Process improvement / including documenting and implementation of processes
