Job Description:
GDIT is seeking candidates to support the US Army Intelligence and Security Command (INSCOM). Under the I2TS 3 task order, INSCOM ensures reliable, uninterrupted availability of Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Information Management (C4IM) including: networks, hardware, software, engineering, and specialized tools at the point of customer need to support INSCOM's mission. INSCOM and its MSCs provide the enabling layer to connect the Army and its tactical formations to defense and national intelligence agencies via tactical networks. The ability to provide mission critical intelligence is dependent on the successful use of its information technology (IT) networks worldwide.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
An I2TS 3 SCCM Systems Administrator Level 3(Systems Administrator Senior) will:
Provide support for Tier 1 and 2 administrators, including giving guidance on patching and remediation.
Work with Tier 3 server administrators to determine cause of missing updates and patches.
Provide PXE booting support by enabling new systems to PXE boot and troubleshooting any systems that fail.
Design, test, and deploy 3rd party software packages. Remediate existing 3rd party software deployments that encounter errors.
Provide management with a Tier 3 overview of testing and deployments cycles for patches and updates.
Work with other SCCM / MECM administrators to coordinate enterprise deployments and backend system upgrades.
Manage user and computer collections to automate software deployment and manage hardware.
Determine what hardware drivers are needed to support new models, including adding drivers to boot WIMs and task sequences.
Create and update task sequences to deploy custom software, deploy OS images, and configure computers.
Desirable Skills / Experience:
Knowledge of Tenable Security Center (ACAS) for vulnerability management and 3rd party verification of patching success.
Knowledge of Active Directory for site and user management.
Knowledge of server virtualization technologies, preferably VMWare and/or Microsoft technologies.
Use of PowerShell to automate software installation and configure computers.
Experience working with DISA STIGs.
Experience working in large DoD enterprise network environments.
Year of Experience Required:
High School Diploma/GED with 10 years of related experience, or Associates Degree with 8 years of experience, or Bachelors Degree with 6 years of experience, or Masters Degree with 4 years of
Certification(s):
Required Security Environment Certification: CompTIA Security+ CE or equivalent
Windows Environment Administration: Exam 70-703 Administrating Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager and Cloud Services Integration (SCCM CB 2016))
Security Clearance:
TS/SCI required
Additional:
Candidates must be willing and able to attain a CI Polygraph for certain positions as determined by the contract
