In Kansas City, Honeywell Federal Manufacturing & Technologies (FM&T) manages and operates the U.S. Department of Energy/National Nuclear Security Administration€™s (NNSA) Kansas City National Security Campus. Summary:
Selected applicant will be a key contributor to Honeywell FMT€™s Next Generation ERP Platform along with providing interim support of our current Peoplesoft ERP Platform. Candidate must lead highly complex or enterprise critical projects that require a diverse array of programming expertise. Responsible for leading application analysis, design, development, integration and enhancement. Daily responsibilities include leading multiple, concurrent projects and/or support efforts.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Takes a lead role in system implementations
Utilizes leadership and project management skills to gather support from stakeholders to ensure project success
Mentors team members through formal and informal methods on new functionalities with new releases of PS
Utilizes strong communication skills, collaboration w/ customers, and proactive updates to potential issues
Translates complex business requirements into solutions, identifies potential benefits, and re-engineers workflow processes to achieve anticipated benefits
Proactively seeks to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships and effectively manages client expectations through production support
Partners with the Project Management and business users to support all phases of project implementation
Develops and validates PS solutions leveraging expert knowledge and best practices
Develops and executes a detailed system test plans and test cases and provide issue tracking and consolidation
Manages a coordinated UAT with team members
For continuous improvement and growth, identifies and ensures new ideas of Cloud computing, Fluid, chatbots, functional and performance testing, maintenance, and modification of vendor supplied software
Builds business councils, develops governance between customer and developers, develops reports/ presentations for Sr. management and facilitates planning processes
You Must Have:
Bachelor's Degree
US Citizenship to obtain and maintain US Dept. of Energy \"\"\"\"Q\"\"\"\"-level security clearance.
Five or more years of direct work experience
Programming experience in various major programming languages (e.g. Java, C#, Python, ,XML,XSLT,Json and SQL)
Demonstrated experience in serving as a Technical Lead in support of projects.
5 or more years of direct work experience developing and supporting ERP systems : SAP,Peoplesoft,JD Edwards, Oracle: ERP, Financials, Fusion, NetSuite, Epicor, QAD, Microsoft Dynamics, Workday: ERP, Financials, Plex, Priority Software, Honeywell Forge, Tulip, Epicor Kinetic, Acumatica, and Priority Software
We Value:
Ideal candidate should have 5 years experience in Manufacturing or another Supply Chain discipline
Ideal candidate should have a good understanding of the principles to Supply Chain Management
Ideal candidate should have a good understanding of Contract Tracking principles between Financials and Supply chain
Ideal candidate should have experience in supporting applications within our Supply Chain portfolio including but not limited to: Order Management, Inventory, Cost Management, Manufacturing, Supply Planning, Engineering, and Procurement
Demonstrated experience with Cyber Security design requirements including resolving complex security issues by developing, and implementing innovative technical solutions
Expert level programming experience in focused programming language(s) (e.g. Java, C#, Python) and/or COTS framework(s)
Demonstrated high and broad level industry knowledge
Demonstrated written and oral communication skills
