Senior BP Program Manager, Clinical Operations PMO - Structural Heart & Aortic
In this exciting role as a Senior Program Manager within the Clinical Operations PMO Team, you will have the primary responsibility to provide ongoing portfolio, program and project management support for our clinical teams. This includes leading or contributing to the standard operational processes, business process improvement initiatives, resource management, standard reporting and systems and other key centralized activities to support the multiple functional groups and programs within our integrated operating unit.

Location: This role can be remote-based. Preferred locations: Santa Rosa, CA; Mounds View, MN
Ability to travel up to 25% (primarily domestic with potential for international trips each year)
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Leads or leverages cross functional teams to evaluate, develop and manage projects for key business processes.
Oversees and manages the operational aspects of ongoing projects and serves as liaison between project management and planning, project team, and line management.
Reviews status of projects and budgets; manages schedules and prepares status reports.
Monitors the project from initiation through delivery.
Assesses project issues and develops resolutions to meet productivity, quality, and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.
Develops mechanisms for monitoring project progress and for intervention and problem solving with project managers, line managers, and clients.
Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's degree is required with a minimum of 7 years of business process/program management experience
Or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of business process/program management experience
Nice to Have
Internal Medtronic employees with reporting, program and/or portfolio management/skills and experience in Clinical Research highly preferred
Experience in a Program or Project Management role within Clinical Research in the medical device industry
PMP, PgPM, PfPM, Lean Six Sigma certifications
Proficient in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or regulatory compliance guidelines for clinical trials
Experience implementing or executing Operational Excellence strategy, new process, tools and program and/or portfolio dashboards
Strong presentation skills, both delivery and development
Strong knowledge of Microsoft tool suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint, PowerApps, PowerBI, Project, Teams)
Experience with Siebel CTMS (Clinical Trial Management System), Spotfire, Smartsheet, and other PPM tools
Advanced user of Medtronic's Clinical Development Analytics (CDA) experience or similar clinical databases
