The Sr. Digital Business Analyst reports to the Director of Digital Customer Experience. This role leads the translation of product vision into solutions. They collaborate with key functional experts to design and build solutions that achieve business needs with precision and excellence. They drive the formal documentation of website enhancements, management and tracking of work items, governance alignment with global business units, and communication with leadership, UI/UX designers, developers, QA testers, and business team members to ensure timely implementation. The Sr. Digital Business Analyst will manage and mentor junior digital business analysts as they handle appropriately assigned maintenance and enhancement work.
The Sr. Digital Business Analyst will be a key player in accelerating Regal Rexnord's drive toward digital customer experience leadership globally.
Major Responsibilities:
Lead the documentation of system requirements for digital properties and ensure timely implementation by working with business, design, development, and QA teams using agile methods and design documents, including
Themes, epics and user stories
User story mapping, use cases, and wireframing
System and solution diagrams
Workflow diagrams
Domain and data models
Lead estimation sessions and manage scope changes to ensure that budgets and deadlines are met
Inspire and negotiate solution updates to solve design and delivery problems discovered during development
Proactively and clearly communicate changes in delivery dates and manage stakeholder expectations
Facilitate agile sprints by clarifying requirements and unblocking design issues for the team
Facilitate prioritization of the backlog among multiple stakeholders
Identify and recommend improvements to digital properties based on analysis of customer feedback, usability data, and discussions with various functional team members (marketing, sales, customer support, etc.)
Coordinate alignment across multiple business teams when required for shared web functionality or customer experiences
Manage digital customer experience KPI tracking and reporting
Stay current on marketing technologies and make recommendations for ROI-positive operating improvements
Required Education / Experience / Skills:
Bachelor's degree in business or technology field or equivalent experience in technology consulting
6 to 10 years of experience converting digital functionality requests into functional requirements and/or user stories as part of a formal requirements gathering process that supports full requirements traceability
Experience with agile development methodologies and story point estimation (SAFe experience a plus)
Meeting facilitation skills and ability to collaborate effectively with participants from all levels of the organization
Experience with formal product roadmap prioritization methods
Superior communication skills (verbal and written)
Experience using analytics software to evaluate and analyze user behaviors
Business to business or complex product experience preferred
Project management experience preferred
International Institute of Business Analysis (IIBA) CBAP a plus
Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification a plus
Experience or certification in Design Thinking methods a plus
Experience with Sitecore analytics and advanced personalization a plus
