HII-Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Senior eLearning and Graphics Designer to join a team who support the Defense Counterintelligence Security Agency (DCSA), whose mission is to protect our nation's critical assets through enterprise risk management, continuous innovation, and excellence in mission performance and customer service. This position will be 100% telework with 1-2 days a month performed at the customer site in Quantico, VA. We are looking for a candidate who can make an immediate impact as part of the eLearning/graphics team to create and visualize ideas and content graphically for internal and external communication products and to develop eLearning training content for technical systems to be delivered via a Learning Management System (LMS). He or she will apply creativity to high visibility projects while working within brand guidelines and technology requirements, as well as apply their Articulate Storyline 360 expertise. Essential Job Responsibilities
+ Create and visualize ideas graphically preparing internal and external communication products.
+ Design email templates, banner ads, social media graphics and various other digital assets, using key design fundamentals and techniques.
+ Produce learner-centric visuals for a range of course products and learning delivery platforms, including both digital and print assets.
+ Utilize Articulate Storyline 360 authoring tool to create engaging eLearning courses/activities and compelling course content.
+ Aid in the planning and execution of eLearning projects/production of course material to meet set timelines for completion, which includes the delivery of eLearning products via an LMS.
+ Integrate adult learning best practices and thought leadership into eLearning course material
+ Write effective copy, instructional text, audio, and video scripts
+ Visualize instructional graphics, the user interface, and the finished product
+ Assist in the development of course templates and style guides.
+ Work with the communication team to keep design projects on schedule and ensure branding, consistency and quality standards are met.
+ Produce templates for business lines across the Industrial Security Directorates (ISD) enterprise, including marketing, publications, and conference briefings, as required.
+ Performs additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
+ 15+ years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13+ years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19+ years relevant experience.
+ 5+ years experience in graphic or digital design.
+ 5+ years training design/development experience creating elearning products
+ 2+ years process management for the training development lifecycle, from initial design through delivery and implementation (Analyze, Design, Develop, Implement, and Evaluate (ADDIE) model)
+ Strong knowledge of graphics fundamentals, typography, and use of color.
+ Experience providing end-users with recommendations and complex graphic artist support for the development of documents, briefings, and websites.
+ Excellent understanding of color, font usage, layout, aesthetics, and balance in print, web and interactive design.
+ Ability to apply creativity to projects while working within brand guidelines and technology requirements.
+ Ability to work well under pressure, juggle multiple projects, accurately estimate completion times, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities.
+ Expertise in Articulate Storyline 360 and one or more eLearning LMS
+ Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, with an emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
+ Ability to pay strict attention to detail
+ Possession of excellent organizational skills
+ Must have active DoD SECRET security clearance or the ability to attain an interim SECRET clearance.
Preferred Requirements
+ Advanced knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite programs, with an emphasis on Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
+ Experience with communicating verbally and in writing to senior military or government leadership.
+ 2+ years experience with instructional design experience preferred
+ Intermediate knowledge of web-based development and production tools, including HTML.
+ General understanding of communication methodologies and concepts.
+ Knowledge of MS Teams as a collaborative tool
