**What youll achieve**
As a Hardware Senior Engineer in the Enterprise Validation Engineering team in Austin, you will be responsible for the electrical and functional validation of storage hardware in servers (NVME Drives), with the goal of ensuring our hardware meets Dell Technologies Quality Requirements. Your efforts will contribute to providing a positive customer experience for Dell Technologies customers who use our Server platforms in their data centers.
**You will:**
+ Develop hardware validation test plans that will ensure server hardware products meet quality expectations.
+ Perform hands-on execution of hardware validation projects in the lab. This includes hardware set-up, validation of proper operating conditions and screening hardware for operational limits.
+ Review test results, seek solutions, and drive corrective action(s) on hardware issues found during qualification activities.
+ Provide timely reporting of activities and projects.

**Essential Requirements**
+ BSEE or equivalent
+ Knowledge of hardware engineering concepts across electronic components/drives/boards.
+ Knowledge of OS environments (e.g. Windows, Linux).
+ Knowledge of NVME protocols.
+ Hands on experience test equipment such as Mixed Signal Oscilloscopes, Multimeters, etc.
+ A self-starter with experience working and collaborating in a diverse multi-cultural environment.
+ A team player with excellent communication (written and verbal) and presentation skills.
+ Versatility to learn new areas of technology and associated validation techniques.
**Desirable Requirements**
+ Experience in test management and reporting tools such as Qtest, JIRA and/or Confluence.
+ Awareness of electrical, thermal, and functional validation requirements for data center storage hardware products.
