**About this role:**
The **Sr. Information Security Analyst** participates in development, execution and tracking of information security threat response plans and software application vulnerability remediation plans. Utilizes established processes and tools to focus on incident response, threat identification, analyses, and remediation. This position participates in the implementation and integration of risk management procedures. Supports the processes for technical and physical risk management to protect UPSs information assets. This position may also possess a secondary skillset in Web Development and secure programming methodologies. Identifies opportunities where automation or development may aid in the Security Analyst role. This position reviews code from a UPS or Vendor product and determine its function and purpose, or work with an API to retrieve data from an Application/Vendor. He/She must be familiar with the following: .Net, C++, PowerShell, SQL Server/SSIS and tools used to design and implement these programmatic solutions (Visual Studio, SSMS, Burp, VMWare, etc.).
This role works with the many UPS Operations Technology application development teams to react quickly to emerging information security threats and vulnerabilities. Advises development teams on secure application development practices, adoption of SAST and DAST solutions, and implementation technical solutions for vulnerability remediation, and compliance with all UPS Information Security Standards. Assists with the continuous improvement of internal processes to improve the overall information security posture for the UPS Operations Technology group.
**Minimum Qualifications:**
+ Knowledge of Platform Security Administration/Analysis (OS), Security Compliance Analysis, Web Application Security Analysis, Client Server Architecture and Windows Operating System
+ A secondary skillset in Web Development and secure programming methodologies is desired
+ Experience with end to end application development lifecycle processes is desired
+ Familiarity with Knowledge of Standards and Governance Policies and Procedures and Risk Management
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Experience with Microsoft Excel and Power BI
+ Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Security, Computer Science, Auditing or equivalent
