Designs and implements information security architectures and solutions for the organization. Identifies probable system exposure, compromise, problems or design flaws. Provides security design assistance on new products and internally-developed projects.

Job Responsibility

This person willsupport the internal DR tools (applications) working through the technical aspects of the different modifications we are looking to make to our tools such as how form changes in Assurance can impact downstream applications, creating data extracts, coordinating efforts and being able to modify the solution.
\r
Createsolutions and beable to think in abstract so that the solution can be practically applied. This will be very important as we need to interpret application recovery requirements and apply them in creating virtual protection groups in Zerto.
\r
Defines and maintains policies, standards, configuration, and operation procedures and guidelines regarding security, identity and access.
\r
Defines data security, confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
\r
Ensures compliance with agency security policies and standards.
\r
Recommends updates and improvements to agency security policies and standards.
\r
Escalates issues to the leadership to limit serious performance impact.
\r
Analyzes and designs IT security infrastructure to maximize performance and capacity.
\r
Plans, initiates, and implements new security infrastructure architecture or design changes.
\r
Defines, manages, and monitors security devices, including procedures for detecting, reporting and responding to computer security incidents.
\r
Provides guidance to team members.
\r
Operates under limited guidance and work assignments involve moderately complex to complex issues where the analysis of situations or data requires in-depth evaluation of variable factors.

Job Qualification
\r
\r
Bachelor's Degree required, or equivalent combination of education and related experience.
\r
3-5 years of relevant experience, required.
\r
\r
HIGHLY PREFERRED
\r
\r
Experience with Zerto Continuous Data Protection solution, VMware Site Recovery Manager, Azure Site Recovery Manager, Google Actfio, and/or other cloud based recovery solutions.
\r
Well versed in application development, relational databases (SQL Server preferred), fluency in Visio (more than just painting pictures), fluency in Excel (should be able to do VLOOKUP, Index, Match, and be able to write VB macros when necessary).
