We are looking for a senior Integration developer of e-commerce solutions for Abbott’s Diabetes Care Division.

The Senior Developer helps in design, implementation of new features and optimization of existing Mulesoft module in the eCommerce platform in an Agile environment utilizing a test driven development approach.

The Senior Developer ensures the solution design outlined by the Solution Architect is delivered in line with best practices, embedding our standards of quality, reusability, scalability and configurability.

The Senior Developer will execute true end-to-end development and testing of software products in an agile lifecycle. Partnering with key technical and business stakeholders, the agile developer will help refine the product vision, estimate and design a solution, create, purchase, or customize the requisite hardware and software to create the solution, ensure the quality of the final product through manual and automated tests, and support the new software as it is moved to production.

The Senior Developer will guide and coach the developers (internal and external) on standards, code quality and continuous improvement opportunities.

You have worked on medium scale projects and want to take your impact to the global scale.  You can work across multi-functional teams and multiple applications using the best each to meet business needs.

CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide estimates for development effort for requirements outlined by the Application Lead and Business Systems Analyst

• Lead troubleshooting and optimization effort for production Mulesoft implementation

• Development of new integrations with Mulesoft in the cloud.

• Maintenance of existing integrations with Mulesoft with downstream systems (Salesforce.com, Magento, AEM etc.)

• Deliver 3rd party integration with external systems including CMS / CRM / ERP / Payment / Shipping

• Analyze user stories and develop modifications and fix bugs appropriately

• Able to work without direction following best practices and provide guidance to the developers in the team

• Perform unit testing and automation testing of the features developed

• Create supporting change control documentation including design documents, unit test, and deployment instructions.

• Support continuous improvement of coding standards and best practices for the team.

• Working within a CI / CD environment using source control system (Bitbucket) and advanced branching strategies.

• Ability to learn and support multiple applications in the Digital and e-Commerce ecosystem such as Cognito, Selligent, Magento, Salesforce.com and Adobe Experience Manager

Education/ Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering / Computer Science

• Minimum 6 years of experience as developer on Mulesoft

• Mulesoft Certified Developer – Level 1 (Mule 4)

• Mulesoft Certified Developer – Integration Professional (Mule 3)

• Experience with MuleSoft / AWS Lambda SOA integration framework

• Expert knowledge about REST & SOAP API integrations.

• Should be well versed with any CI/CD tool using GIT/Bitbucket/GITLAB.

• Experience with Lean / Agile development methodologies

• Proficiency in object-oriented programming

• Preferred experience with PCI-compliant environments

• Excellent oral and written communication, presenting, meeting facilitation, negotiation, decision making, and problem-solving skills

• Experience working in matrix global organization with working in virtual geographically disparate teams being the norm
