Better requires process discipline and simplification
Well be looking to you to lead technical support and troubleshooting network, hardware, and software products and serve as a facilitator for conference bridge calls used to troubleshoot severity 1 and 2 incidents. You will coordinate the beta test process, working closely with System Developers to resolve issues.
Youll implement software to the Western Union network and independent agents, and set up, install, and distribute propriety software for our clients. You will develop and maintain software installations, training materials for all software applications in a digital transformation context, and processes to improve software distribution. You will also provide coaching and develop peer technicians and NOC staff.
For such a detail-driven role, you will have 10 years of IT-related experience. You will have obtained your bachelors degree in an IT-related field. Deep Working experience on Cisco Products- Routers, switches; firewalls; Protocols: BGP, EIGRP and OSPF, Ethernet Technologies, ACI, DNA, ISE, SDWAN, DMVPN, IPSEC VPN, GRE, Knowledge on F5 products- Local Traffic Manager. DNS; Aruba - Wireless Controllers, Access Points, ClearPass; Tools: Extrahop, NetMRI; Checkpoint Firewalls / VPN. Knowledge on Automation using Python, Ansible, CloudFormation Templates on AWS / Google Cloud Platform. Also would be great if you have CCIE/CCNP, AWS certification / Google Cloud platform certification as a plus.
You will have experience in the support and maintenance of hardware and software packages. Youll have excellent communication skills and knowledge of analytical and problem-solving techniques. You will know telecommunications, computer systems architecture, and network operating systems along with strong customer service background and phone support experience.
