Job Summary
AECOM currently has an opportunity for an Experienced Senior Structural Bridge Engineer to join the growing team of professionals in our Transportation Bridge Group in Manchester, New Hampshire office. In this role, you will contribute primarily in bridge design projects.
This position is expected to begin in October 2022
The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Senior technical resource may serve as technical advisor for team
Provides specialized technical input to studies and design for staff's specific area of expertise
Develops study and design procedures to facilitate high quality cost-effective work by others
Participates in interdisciplinary review of project deliverables
Develops construction cost estimates and estimates of technical efforts for projects
Uses expertise in all steps of completing discipline component of PS&E package
Performs quality control review of design calculations or drawings
Prepares technical specification sections
Provides input to the development of engineering budget and schedule to meet requirements

Minimum Requirements
BA/BS in Civil Engineering from an accredited US Institution + 6 years of experience as a Structural Engineer primarily in bridge design
A current P.E. license in NH and/or surrounding states
Valid Driver's License
Preferred Qualifications
MS preferred in structural engineering
10 or more years Structural Bridge Engineering and Design experience desirable
Project experience with NHDOT and/or other State DOTs
Strong Technical skills and ability to provide technical leadership
Project management experience
Well versed in modern structural, analytical and design software packages
