AT&T Services, Inc., is seeking a Senior System Engineer in Dallas, TX (& various unanticipated locations throughout the US; may work from home) responsible for translating business needs into technical solutions, and defining solutions to problems through reasoned application of information technology. Design, develop, document and analyze overall architecture of systems, including hardware and software. Determine integrated hardware and software architecture solutions that meet performance, usability, scalability, reliability, and security needs. Coordinate design and integration of total system including subsystems. Research and recommend technology to improve the current systems. Lead multiple small to medium sized projects and technical breadth. Develop methods and techniques based on strategic project objectives. Responsible for data solutions that include project work estimates, data reuse, data validation, data modeling and development of data architectures. Manage data solutions for BSSe applications, CaaS and Salesforce SaaS applications at the Pre-planning Interaction (PI) and PI levels. Mentor and provide technical guidance and explain advanced concepts to others in work area. Responsible for data extraction, data loads and data transfer to support diversified data requirements across multiple IT environments, applications, and API layers. Evaluate data architecture strategy and requirements for billing, ordering, and provisioning applications and network activations. Coordinate across multiple departments. Deliver complex architectural solutions based on technical documents to support data deliverable for current and legacy billing applications. Utilize Data Stax, Putty, SQL Developer, Jira and Postman. Utilize JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Apex and Python. Perform defect management tools: HP ALM, JIRA, TDP, DevOps and SAFe methodology. Utilize Open-Source software, third party software solutions and Extract Transform Load (ETL) technologies: K2view.
Requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science and 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience utilizing Data Stax, Putty, SQL Developer, Jira and Postman; utilizing JavaScript, SQL, PL/SQL, Unix, Apex and Python; performing defect management tools: HP ALM, JIRA, TDP, DevOps or SAFe methodology; and utilizing Open-Source software, third party software solutions and Extract Transform Load (ETL) technologies: K2view.
