The role will be responsible for streamlining our core automation testing strategies and test tooling and will require taking a lead in the selection and integration of new QA processes and tooling to replace existing manual and automated testing. The role will also be responsible for taking the lead in defining, harvesting, and presenting metrics that highlight both progress and problems as we reach for improved quality and reduced time-to-market. Qualifications The skills and experience you will need to be successful include: Ideally 5+ years plus experience as a Test Engineer Experience in setting up a test framework from scratch and improving existing frameworks to be more efficient and effective Must have strong understanding of selenium with java and BDD framework Experience in defining and implementing test processes in the organization across multiple projects Experience of identifying the appropriate techniques, tools and guidelines to implement the required tests and to give guidance on the corresponding resources requirements for the test effort Experience of leading multiple release cycles Excellent problem solving and analytical skills Experience of the full software project lifecycle ( agile, DevOps) and a technical appreciation of IT systems and solutions Experience with testing services in AWS/Azure/Google Cloud is a big plus Experience of API automation testing with REST Assured , Postman and Swagger Experience of Performance testing with tools like Jmeter Required Knowledge Knowledge of multiple test automation frameworks, for smoke, regression, end-to-end and load testing Agile Software Development Lifecycle Processes and Methodologies Understanding of primary models of test automation frameworks, (i.e. data driven, keyword driven, hybrid, and behavior driven) Knowledge of containers and virtualization Knowledge of mobile automation tools What You Will Need Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required.
