The Climate Risk Technology team within Risk and Finance Technology consists of extremely talented leaders, who are sourcing new data to support strategy development for addressing the new and evolving Climate Risk domain. We are looking for candidate with strong Data Modeling and Data Analytical skills is a member of Technology team to support Operational Risk and Compliance Data Analytics and Reporting.
**Role Overview**
Enterprise Risk & Finance Technologys Climate Risk team is looking for motivated new talent to drive the end to end automation for data sourcing into CERDP. This role will help Climate Risk users be able to access governed and curated datasets to enable the Climate Risk Strategy and Policy evolution.
Program includes several independent/related projects which require interactions with LOB leadership and strong technical background.
+ Experienced technologist with strong database and data modeling experience, ability to work across multiple teams to ensure consistent implementation of the data model.
+ Must have strong data modeling tool knowledge: i.e. ERWIN, Sybase Power Designer and others.
+ Create the Information Architecture for complex compliance data warehouses, Operational Data Store and Transactional Systems
+ Create Conceptual, Logical and Physical Data Model, Data Flows, Data Management specifications
+ Work with business and technology teams in identifying the data flow and requirements associated with a business flow and at what points within that flow to capture the data needs
+ Contribute to the overall system design and operational design Required skills:
+ 10 + years of experience in the IT field with progressive experience as an Information Architect for large and complex systems
+ In-depth experience with relational database and data warehouse development.
+ In depth Data Modeling experience
+ Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
+ Strong knowledge of data management concepts, including database structure, and proficiency with SQL and other standard database query tools.
+ Experience in data analysis, data mapping techniques.
+ Work experience with Business Intelligence (data architecture, entity relationship planning, dimensional modeling, ETL, OLAP, analytical reporting) preferred
+ Solid background in Database administration or Database development (Oracle / SQL Server)
+ Experience in Risk/Banking technology or operations support will be an added plus
+ Knowledge of data quality checks and processes and building it into the system
+ Process re-engineering and system integration experience
**Required Skills and Experience we are Looking For:**
+ 5+ years of data modeling experience
+ Bachelor's Degree
+ Strong understanding of data analysis, data mapping, data aggregation, data management
+ Hands-on experience
+ Ability to work on end-to-end projects at once
+ Data warehouse and ETL experience
+ Strong understanding of information architecture

**Jersey City pay range:**
$90,500 - $160,000
annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
