This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite.
What you will do:
The ideal candidate will be an enthusiastic and collaborative full stack developer with experience in developing RESTful APIs(Java, Spring Boot) and JavaScript ES2015+(React).
Other technologies used include Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Open Shift, Docker, AWS, NIFI, Jenkins, Hibernate, Oracle and PostgreSQL Database.
Experience with Apache Sparks and Kafka is a big plus.
Collaborate with other software engineers, domain experts, and end-users, to build the right solutions that address our business needs.
Work on a development team using agile methodologies
Continuous focus on code quality including code reviews
E2E test automation
E2E PVS automation
Provide full life cycle development with Java technology stack
Lead-level understanding of Core Java 1.8+
Demonstrable experience in any ETL tools.
Demonstrable experience with Spring Framework (boot, batch, integration, mvc)
Demonstrable experience with PostgreSQL including data modeling, partitioning and performance tuning
Demonstrable experience with JBoss EAP 7+
Demonstrable experience with Restful and SOAP-based web services, JSON and XML
Demonstrable experience with Mongodb Integration
Demonstrable experience with TDD methodologies, and tools such as Junit, Mockito, TestNG
Experience with JMS queues and JDBC
Experience with behavior-driven testing frameworks like Cucumber and integration-testing frameworks like Selenium and SoapUI
Experience with continuous integration systems like Jenkins
Agile development experience
Experience with SQL Server and MemSql are preferred but not required.
What you need to do the job:
Strong background in object oriented software development knowledge of modern, cloud-hosted, single page applications.
Experience working in java frameworks such as Spring Boot, RESTful API services.
Relational Database - Experience using Oracle and PostgreSQL which involves writing and understanding complex queries.
Good understanding and ability to work on single page user interface frameworks, preferably React.
Experience using tools like Pivotal Cloud Foundry, Open Shift, Jira, Confluence, GitHub, NIFI, Docker.
Exposure to AWS Cloud technologies is highly desired.
Experience using Jenkins to automate build, test, and deployments.
Candidates must be team oriented and relational, as the existing team values collocation and collaboration to enable high output and good business value.
Preferred experience using Kafka to build event-driven architecture between applications.
Understand coding standards and implement them within code being developed
Troubleshoot problems and provide solutions
Communicate with the users to determine problems or design requirements
Document changes and follow the Systems Development Life Cycle process independently
Willing to learn and adopted new technologies in short period of time as required by the Project
Capability to be design solutions for complex projects
