Shift Monday – Friday; 8:00am – 5:00pm Job Summary Design, plan, and implement well-engineered software and data services that supports and enriches research productivity and reliability. Evolve software development and data services with the research to ensure that modern standards of reproducible research are kept.

Experience using batch processing, data processing pipelines, configuration management, and cloud orchestration
Well versed in software best practices including software design, version control, containerized software development, and management of large software systems
Expertise with high- and low-level programming languages and data processing (e.g., FORTRAN, C/C++, Python, R, Matlab, TensorFlow, Jupyter Notebooks, etc.)
Expertise using libraries and services such as message passing and shared memory APIs, advanced database services, pub/sub services, machine learning and big data transfer tools/services
Expertise in creating effective user interfaces for research software and visualization of research output
Experience writing and maintaining documentation including internal code documentation and user-facing usage documentation and training materials
Excellent communication skills coupled with an ability to navigate an academic environment and work collaboratively with individuals at all levels.
