About SVB Capital

SVB Capital's investor relations team acts as an extension of our Limited Partners team, helping them access the global innovation economy. The investor relations team is responsible for fundraising, marketing content, due diligence materials, hosting events, and Limited Partner engagement.

Job Responsibilities

The ideal candidate will have investor relations or sales support experience and proven ability to achieve a strategic vision through detailed execution. The candidate will demonstrate excellent organizational and project management skills, superior attention to detail, the ability to work well under tight deadlines and manage competing priorities. The candidates will have excellent verbal and written communication skills. A successful candidate will be a self-starter and demonstrate the ability to work both independently as well as collaborate across the different teams within SVB Capital and across the broader Silicon Valley Bank.

• Investor meeting coordination, oversee meeting preparation including the generation of new and unique materials including presentations, portfolio updates, reports, agendas, bios, and any additional briefing documentation

• Maintain LP data in the CRM, make sure information is accurate and all engagement activities are captured. Help manage build, manage and monitor processes related to the CRM

• Assist in the generation of / oversee the process for broader investor relations initiatives such as thought leadership pieces, investment commentary and webinars, as needed

• Respond to detailed client requests for information, RFPs and DDQs and help maintain detailed response database.

• Ongoing client support

• Ability to help manage and enhance processes and systems related to client engagement

• Assistance in fund closes, processing client subscription materials

• Ad hoc projects

Desired Qualifications

• 5-7 years of relevant work experience at an asset manager, venture capital firm, a private equity firm, hedge fund or similar organization, preferably in a role focused on investor relations or sales support

• Bachelor's degree required. Finance, communication, Marketing and other business-related majors preferred.

• Exceptional skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams

• Experience using CRM systems or other sales enablement tools is preferred

• Ability to process, synthesize and present industry data

• Exceptional planning and organizational skills

• Strong interpersonal skills to work across teams and functions

• Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and part of the team

• Impeccable attention to detail

• Highly collaborative team player
