KPMG is currently seeking a Sr. Associate to join our Economic and Valuation Services (https://tax.kpmg.us/services/valuations.html) practice.
Responsibilities:
+ Conduct research of publicly traded companies, intellectual property assets and product markets
+ Review and analyze U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) financial statements and IP-related documents in the context of acquisitions and divestures, monetization transaction and capital funding events
+ Develop financial projections, and provide analytics to support commercialization transactions and strategy
+ Participate in internal and client meetings, review and evaluate business and financial information
+ Assist in business development efforts including organizing internal and external GTM efforts
+ Supervise and mentor staff
Qualifications:
+ Minimum five years of experience with intellectual property and business analysis
+ For senior associate candidates: Undergraduate degree in economics, business, finance, mathematics, or statistics from an accredited college/university
+ For Manager candidates: Graduate degree in economics, business, finance, mathematics, or statistics from an accredited college/university and/or relevant professional designation
+ Knowledge of the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, solid research, and analytical skills
+ Ability to work well both autonomously and in a team environment
