**ROLE SUMMARY**



The Enterprise Services division within GBS S&ES was created to bring the GBS principles of quality, cost, compliance, and client experience to life by delivering impactful services that increase the productivity of Pfizer colleagues to create Breakthroughs that change patients' lives. We accomplish this by collaborating with internal Pfizer teams to both explore new and existing services which can be scaled across the enterprise and identify opportunities to improve outcomes via the use of our preferred service providers. We add value by managing those providers to both short and long-term performance outcomes that are agreed upon with our business partners and memorialized in contracts with the Sourcing division. Simultaneously, we provide a fast, easy, and delightful experience for our clients as they engage with our services.



With a staff of colleagues and contingent workers, the Enterprise Services (ES) Sr. Director of Enterprise Privacy Operations, Records, and Information Management will be accountable for development of strategy, management, and standards associated with executing privacy operations processes and ensuring the Company's records and information management (RIM) obligations are met.



**ROLE RESPONSIBLITIES**



+ Establish global strategy for operational support of Pfizer's data privacy related obligations.

+ Launch a compliant, cost efficient and client friendly operational program related to all functions within the remit of GBS Privacy Operations including Individual Rights Requests, Inventory Management, Threshold surveys, PIA's, DPIA's DTIA's

+ With an eye towards continuous improvement, compliance and cost efficiency, oversee Privacy Operations within the European Union, North America, Brazil, and China with the expectation that the responsibilities of the team will expand on a country by country basis as the regulatory environment changes.

+ Partner with the Chief Privacy Officer to ensure Pfizer's operational support strategy remains compliant with current and upcoming privacy regulations

+ Partner with the Enterprise Platforms and Security organization to establish strategy associated with the systems and tools necessary to execute consistent and standardized Privacy Operations functions on a global basis.

+ Sponsor IT systems that support the management of Pfizer's Privacy Operations function in manner compliant with regulatory requirements in multiple geographies.

+ Liase with executive stakeholders and site leadership throughout Pfizer to proactively advocate for recognition of data privacy obligations in all current and newly developed business processes.

+ Continuously evaluate staffing requirements needed (internal and supplier supported) to successfully provide Privacy Operations services globally in an ever-evolving regulatory environment.

+ Oversee development of processes and/or services and/or tools that enable Pfizer to remain in compliance with current and upcoming privacy regulations globally. This will include addressing both short-term, immediate needs to increase efficiency in current processes as well as preparing for future requirements in a growing field.

+ Lead cross functional initiatives to establish Pfizer's operational support for compliance with data privacy obligations in new markets.

+ Ensure optimal coordination and collaboration with the Enterprise Records and Information Management team to ensure processes associated with data minimization are in compliance with the Enterprise Records Retention Schedule and that data privacy related processes do not contradict other established processes or policies.

+ Owner of Corporate Policy 405: Records & Information Management, and Corporate Policy 408: Electronic Signatures, and the Enterprise Record Retention Schedule. Responsible for ensuring their content remains up to date and compliant with records-related regulations.

+ Develop and administer enterprise RIM training to ensure colleagues and contingent workers globally are aware of and can comply with the Company's RIM policies.

+ Liase with executive stakeholders to proactively advocate for the adoption of RIM policies globally. Provide guidance to the business as requested to enable better understanding and therefore improved compliance.

+ Define and optimize RIM processes and standards that enable the safeguarding and accessibility of Pfizer's archived physical and electronic records.

+ Manage a global network of strategic partners providing enterprise records management services across all areas of the Company, including appraisal, archiving, retrieval, retention, and defensible disposal of the company's physical and electronic records.

+ Sponsor IT systems that enable archives to be searched and relevant items retrieved for business continuity, internal and regulatory (e.g., FDA, MHRA, EMA) audits, and legal discovery.

+ Partner with Business Development and Digital to ensure that data related to an acquisition are properly and optimally integrated into Pfizer's systems and archives and that records associated with a divestiture are appropriately conveyed.



**QUALIFICATIONS**



+ Bachelor's degree is required and a Master's degree is preferred

+ 15+ years' work experience (some pharmaceutical industry preferred)

+ 5+ years of global experience working with different markets that span various cultures, languages, and time zones.

+ Experience working with privacy regulations or implementing privacy operations, industry recognized privacy certification preferred

+ Understanding of current technology used to manage privacy obligations for a large company

+ Extensive experience leading through matrixed teams without direct line authority, in addition to leading teams of direct reports.

+ Awareness of current industry standards as they pertain to legal and regulatory guidelines concerning the management of pharmaceutical company records

+ Demonstrated experience with post-merger/acquisition records, information, and/or systems integration.

+ Strong collaboration/relationship-building skills and ability to engage across multiple functions, including technical and business

+ Demonstrated skills in the delivery of exceptional client services and experiences

+ Excellent communication skills with an ability to respond with professionalism in verbal as well as written communications

+ Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.

**NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS**



Ability to perform with a Flexible work schedule (~ 2 days a week in the office), across multiple geographies/time-zones (Americas, Europe, and Asia), and travel (up to 20% of time).
