The Sr Manager eCommerce Fulfillment will be a critical role to help drive customer satisfaction, minimizing exceptions, and planning the operations of a world class brands direct to consumer eCommerce business. This role will have visibility with Senior Leadership in optimizing performance and driving key initiatives to shape the future of our operations.
Role and Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Manage a team that runs day to day business operations of eCommerce Fulfillment by reviewing open orders and collaborating with teams to get orders out
Responsible to reconcile all open orders and identify gaps in process and systems to close correct order status in system and evaluate, communicate and prioritize issues to be resolved to respective teams
Evaluate Logistics and Shipping partners performance and surface exceptions and issues to the correct parties for resolution
Work with our Supply Chain team and Category Managers to improve backorder, EOL, replacement, and order exceptions to pro-actively prevent order issues
Evaluate and plan forecasts with logistics partners to ensure staffing, transportation and other resources to be prepared for holiday and peak volumes throughout the year
Track defects and develop full reconciliation of open orders to understand root cause
Partner with customer service team to understand consumer pain points and work on initiatives to improve customer experience
Monitor and take action on exception reporting and understand measurements of KPIs for lead times, shipping time, backorders, shipping exceptions to track progress towards operational goals for direct eCommerce business and work on initiatives to improve KPIs
Skills and Experience:
Bachelors in Supply Chain or related field required. MS Degree preferred
8 + years relevant experience in eCommerce fulfillment AND/OR supply chain business operations required
Six Sigma experience AND/OR certification preferred
Experience with high volume direct to consumer (DTC / B2C) eCommerce fulfillment illustrating process and KPI improvements to scale growth
Expertise using Excel spreadsheets, Word, Access. Experience with SAP business systems, or similar sales order management and ecommerce platform software applications
