Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking a **Sr Principal / Principal Engineer Software** developer with strong skills in C# .NET located in **Tinker AFB, OK** . A successful candidate will be able to use defined engineering processes to implement specified requirements by performing requirements analysis, software design, development, integration, and performance evaluation of computing systems supporting avionics systems and tools. Skills required include the ability to develop object-oriented code using proper syntax and coding conventions. A background in programming in C#, C++, Visual Basic and/or other object-oriented programming languages for deployment to a production environment is required. Having knowledge of database scripting language and/or experience with use or administration of MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase, or other databases is preferred. Applicants should have experience or knowledge of WPM, MVVM, and design patterns. Having experience working with Agile development methodologies and processes will be considered a plus. Experience in software development using the Joint Mission Planning System (JMPS) Framework will be considered a significant plus.

+ High school diploma or GED with 9 yrs experience. Will also consider BS Degree and 5 yrs experience
+ Secret Security clearance required
+ Strong skills in performing object-oriented code development using C#.NET programming language.
+ Experience in using MS Office - MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.) to develop work products
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Sr Principal S/W Engineer:**

+ High school diploma or GED with 13 yrs experience. Will also consider BS Degree and 9 yrs experience
+ Secret Security clearance required
+ Strong skills in performing object-oriented code development using C#.NET programming language.
+ Experience in using MS Office - MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, etc.) to develop work products
+ Excellent oral and written communication skills

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ BS degree in engineering or computer related discipline
+ Secret DoD security clearance with investigation date less than five years old
+ Strong skills in performing object-oriented code development in a Microsoft .NET using C++ and/or Visual Basic programming language
+ Experience in software development using the Joint Mission Planning Systems (JMPS) Framework will be considered a significant plus
+ Experience working with XML files
+ Experience writing code using WPF and XAML
+ Experience and use of software architectural and design patterns will be considered a plus
+ Knowledge of database scripting language and/or experience with use or administration MS SQL, Oracle, Sybase, or other databases
+ Knowledge in the use of software modeling tools will be considered a plus
+ Experience in IT projects with full lifecycle development processes in place
+ Experience in developing software using AGILE development methods and processes
+ Experience developing software within a UNIX operating system

Salary Range: $83,000.00 - $124,600.00Salary Range 2: $102,900.00 - $154,300.00

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
