The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Develop automations, introduce, and implement new tools and systems to continually push SRE practices.

+ Design, implement and maintain technologies used to provide application infrastructure support

+ Coordinate infrastructure changes, troubleshoot issues and service application infrastructure change requests.

+ Provide input on technical design and do the technical implementations of SRE plans and projects.

+ Participate in new environment planning.

+ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in all environments related to automation processes.

+ Take part in planning deployments and improvements to CI/CD pipeline

+ Environment Management

+ First point of contact for any user issues.

+ Ensure prompt resolution of issues.

+ Support multiple end of days processing in non-production environment during testing.

+ Address any issues related to LoanIQ environment setup

+ Manage the setup of Autosys for end of day processing


**Skills**


+ 3+ years of experience in software development on Linux. Java or Python preferred but open to other programming languages as well.

+ Ability to quickly learn new concepts and software.

+ Competent with API, web services and microservices development

+ Experience with Sql/NoSql databases like Oracle, MongoDB.

+ Python Flask or Django Framework development experience.

+ Frontend tech like HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, TypeScript

+ Experience writing automation tests.

+ Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

+ Strong analytical, algorithmic, and problem-solving skills.

+ Experience with automation tooling e.g. Ansible, Chef, Puppet or SaltStack a plus

+ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift a plus

+ Experience with any Cloud Technology a plus

+ BS degree in Computer Science or related technical field
