Cyber Security Technology (CST) is a globally distributed team responsible for cyber security innovation and architecture, engineering, solutions and capabilities development, cyber resiliency, access management engineering, data strategy, deployment maintenance, technical project management and information technology security control support.
This role is an experienced manager, who is responsible for building and leading a team to deliver products and services for enterprise authentication services. This key leadership position responsible for the enterprise authentication platform engineering and management. Responsibilities include people management, developing teammates through coaching, mentoring, feedback, and hands-on career development. Other key responsibilities include the developing a technology strategy and ensuring technology solutions comply with applicable standards. This role advocates and advances modern solution delivery practices and evangelizes great design, engineering, and organizational practices.
The Senior Technical Manager leads a team supporting build, deploy, and client support functions on our SSO platform which enables a secure and enhanced authentication experience for Bank of America enterprise users. The team supports the following functions:
+ Infrastructure builds, upgrades, patching and maintenance
+ Release and Change Planning, Coordination & Communication
+ Environment Configuration and Deployment support
+ DR planning and execution
+ AIT management
+ Vulnerability, Risk Remediation and Compliance
+ Certificate management
+ Client Application Team WebSSO and OAuth support
Knowledge and experience with information security, identity and authentication, infrastructure and implementation techniques are key components to this role. You will demonstrate extraordinary organizational and cross-functional communication skills to collaborate on the integration to existing security features.
Primary Level of Engagement: Works at team/program level as a manager of talent, under the supervision from a more senior domain expert or manager.

Key Responsibilities:
+ Accountable for team/program level resource and financial management; build and maintain teams through talent acquisition.
+ Set maturity objectives and provide individuals/teams with training and resources to achieve them.
+ Set and track quality and performance objectives.
+ Facilitate performance and career development of individuals through performance reviews, coaching, and building individual development plans that are needed to develop competencies and skills.
+ Understand individual and team maturity and performance through team/client feedback.
+ Manage relationships with the business and technology leaders, and vendors for technical products.
+ Be accountable for solution delivery management as relevant to their teams (for example, vulnerability resolution, compliance, and security items, and supporting audits).
+ Be accountable to ensure all relevant risk, financial, and compliance polices, and standards are met.
+ Be accountable for the application performance in production (app health, resiliency, performance, security, enterprise data management standards, audit exams and reviews).
+ Create the technology strategy for their technical domain.
+ Ensure that execution is aligned with product strategy by working with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders.
+ Create an inclusive and healthy working environment and help to resolve organizational impediments/blockers.
+ Lead and create followership in Communities of Practice in the organization.
Required skills:
+ Expertise in Identity and Authentication solutions such as Ping Identity or Okta
+ Holistic view of IAM (Authentication and Authorization Data, Endpoint Security, Network Security, Policy Engine)
+ Strong experience with industry standard SSO technologies and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SCIM, LDAP, SAML)
+ Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory services, MFA, Risk based authentication and privileged access management
+ A broad knowledge of information security principles (e.g. access control) and security capabilities
+ Proficient in Linux, Windows, Tomcat, Web Logic, IBM WebSphere environments
+ Knowledge and experience in containerized deployment at an enterprise scale leveraging platforms such as OpenShift, Kubernetes, Docker, etc.
+ Familiarity with deployments and integration of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS or Google Cloud)
+ Experience in deploying large-scale, global projects and programs
+ Team management experience and a strong understanding of management principles
Desired skills:
+ BS in computer science, networking, information systems, computer engineering, or 10+ years equivalent experience in information systems or software engineering

$127,400 - $190,000
