Utilizing local offices with non-commissioned sales representatives, they offer a wide variety of retirement savings plans and services, including 401(k), 403(b), and 457(b) deferred compensation plans. Responsibilities:
Works on technical projects as assigned by the Department Vice President, or Employer Records Manager, for communication to senior management and other departments. Projects may require a review of OnBase contract files, financial quarterly statements, financial and non-financial transaction history data, and usage of Excel for data presentation in a spreadsheet format.
Works on complex employer records assignments, including plan install and maintenance in the FIS Omni recordkeeping system. Assignments may require coordination and communication with MIS, Billing Services, Underwriting and the Field Regional Services operation.
Assists in maintaining and updating departmental tables for Separate Account Reduced Fee Pricing, General Account Special Interest Rate assessment ad waiver of monthly Charges. Responds to pricing structure inquiries from the Field and Marketing units.
Enrolls and maintains employer records on the Pension, Thrift, TVIF and PALLM systems. This entails translating plan provisions into computer codes and indicators. It may also entail an update to the Online Enrollment data base for participant plan enrollment, as well as modifying the automated employer record function to finalize employer record creation for 401(k) prototype plans.
Involved in the monthly inactivation, reactivation, and service level coding change of employer plans where no contributions are received for 3 consecutive months. Provides a listing of inactivated and reactivated plans for mailing of service level change documents to the employer.
Involved in the testing of both new and existing computer fields as introduced, or modified, by MIS in support of new products and computer system enhancements.
Performs other projects as assigned.
Required Qualifications:
College degree required.
Computer literacy required with knowledge of Excel spreadsheet program.
Customer service oriented with strong interpersonal skills.
Effective oral and written communication skills
Organized, detail oriented and able to work independently.
Able to manage work volume and meet deadlines.
Willing to work evenings and weekends on an overtime basis as needed.
