Technology Engineering Executive - Enterprise Cloud Platforms, Core Technology Infrastructure

**Job Description:**
Enterprise Cloud Platforms team in the CTI organization offers Private and Public Cloud platforms for Bank of Americas developers to drive faster time-to-market, innovation with private and public cloud capabilities, and reduce complexity with bult-in integrations. We believe in high quality engineering culture to engineer our platforms with customer and platform mindset, design for large enterprise scale and resilience, and accelerate market innovation into the technical platforms we deliver. As part of this team, you will have a large impact on the evolution of next generation Cloud services for Bank of America and explore an extensive list of new technologies that will drive innovation across our company.
We are looking for an Executive Engineering Leader to deliver Cloud platform capabilities in Private and Public Clouds to accelerate developer productivity and accelerate market innovation into the platforms. This leader will be responsible for all the engineering activities to deliver the hybrid cloud platforms roadmap for the bank. This leader will provide thought leadership, influence senior technology executives across the bank while guiding the engineering managers to execute the roadmap. This leader will also be responsible for building a world-class engineering talent across banks global locations and drive high quality cloud engineering platforms with developer (customer) first mindset.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Drive cloud engineering activities to deliver the hybrid cloud platforms roadmap for the bank
+ Design and deliver large-scale highly-performant PaaS container (Kubernetes based) platforms for stateless and stateful workloads
+ Design and deliver infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code to drive automation of public cloud and private cloud infrastructure for infrastructure and application developers
+ Collaborate with technical product management, operations, and application development teams to drive the engineering roadmap in Agile model
+ Partner with Information Security teams to engineer secure app patterns and have security from the get-go model into Cloud platforms
+ Partner with risk, and compliance teams to bring visibility and implement right controls and policies in the Cloud Platform
+ Ship cloud platform capabilities across multiple scrum teams with delivery consistency - development process, creating epics and user stories, and prioritizing and grooming the product backlog
+ Hire, grow, and mentor engineers and engineering managers, and provide technical guidance
+ Deliver high-quality cloud platform products. Bring strong focus on customer primarily developers and their usage of cloud platform
+ Develop and deliver customer communications, release notes, and product evangelization content
+ Communicate problems and challenges to drive discussions across key stakeholders and engineering, operations, developers, and leadership
Required Skills:
+ Experience with leading large engineering teams in Cloud-native technologies
+ Experience in DevOps and GitOps models with infra-as-code, config-as-code, policy-as-code, etc. with technologies such as Terraform.
+ Experience with on-premises based Private Cloud and Public Cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, and Google Cloud
+ Experience in container-native technologies such as Kubernetes, containers, virtualization, network, etc.
+ Experience in cloud-native logging, monitoring and operations tools Splunk, Prometheus, etc.
+ Experience in delivering large scale distributed enterprise platforms with focus on performance, scale, security, and reliability
+ Experience with containers related technologies and CICD tools Jenkins, pipelines, container repos, etc.
+ Experience in infra-automation tools Ansible, Java, python, etc.
+ Familiarity with cloud security best practices including Virtual Private Cloud, Identity Access Management, Security Groups, Security Key Management, and Data Encryption
+ Hands-on experience in the recent years developing and engineering cloud based platform or applications at scale
+ Demonstrated excellence in organizational, leadership, communication, coaching, and troubleshooting skills

**Jersey City pay range:**
$175,000 - $300,000
annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
