Who you'll work with
You'll join a small team of highly skilled test automation engineers with a passion for building high-quality products. You will collaborate closely with the MV Frontend team to understand the features, design and implement new tests, and discover and report issues.
Potential projects include
Articulating test plans and prioritizing them for automationBuilding out our suite of BDD functional testsIntegrating end-to-end tests into build pipelinesAssisting in the development of our testing frameworkCreating dashboards for monitoring and alerts around test failuresDeveloping and promoting good testing practices
You are an ideal fit if ...
You have 0-2 years of experience building and maintaining test suites, preferably with open source frameworks such as Cypress, Selenium, etc.You are proficient in writing code in one or more scripting languages like JavaScript, Ruby, or PythonYou are a proven technical communicator and are an enthusiastic advocate for testing best practicesYou use data and metrics to inform decisionsYou are able to weigh technical trade-offs against business goals and hold deep technical curiosity
Bonus points for
Experience with Cucumber and CypressPrior experience with IoT, cameras, video streaming, computer visionExperience with RailsExperience with Postgres or other RDBMSExperience with CI systemsExperience with Docker and/or other container technologies
