The Learning Advisor helps to design, deliver, and implement strategic development solutions for the Banking, Capital Markets, and Advisory (BCMA) business. Partnering with the Global L&D Director for Banking and the BCMA L&D team, this critical role will work directly with the corporate and investment banking business and HR community to prioritize development solutions across employee levelsfrom Analysts and Associates to Vice Presidents and Directors. The Learning Advisor will consult on global and North American regional business learning needs, conduct thorough needs analyses, help to prioritize core solutions, facilitate or work with external partners to deliver learning, manage end-to-end program logistics, and measure learning impact. The Learning Advisor will also directly contribute to ICG-wide and curriculum-specific solutions alongside the broader ICG learning community, within cross-team projects or assignments based on areas of interest or professional experience.
**RESPONSIBILITIES**
In conjunction with the BCMA L&D Team:
+ Executes learning and development programs with a strong attention to detail, high quality content and deliver, and a dedicated focus on meeting the learners expectations
+ Program manages core learning solutions that enable performance and success of employees across multiple career pathways and transitions
+ Continuously strengthens learning solutions by assessing, innovating, and validating expected outcomes; ensures successful delivery of programs whether facilitated internally or externally
+ Consults on development needs by analyzing performance gaps and business objectives with stakeholders, prioritizes solutions with highest business relevance, sources or creates content that is research and best-practice based, and develops or provides learner-centric solutions that have lasting impact.
+ Proactively identifies solutions that are directly linked to organizational and business goals by establishing and maintaining partnerships with key business contacts, HR, SMEs, and vendors to identify and drive performance improving change
+ Utilizes sound performance diagnostic techniques and consultative skills to drive interventions to improve organizational (not simply individual) performance
+ Implements learning projects across a variety or delivery mediums, including traditional classroom, web-based, and other forms of learning
+ Proactively collaborates with regional Talent teams, HR partners, and global Learning colleagues responsible for BCMA/ICG/Citi learning and development
+ Creates regular executive/stakeholder presentations and marketing material to provide updates, disseminate information, and demonstrate impact
+ Partners with colleagues to foster One-ICG solutions by contributing to the design and deployment of cross-business learning, development of curriculum strategy, or implementation of learning process improvement.
In addition:
+ Demonstrates an up-to-date knowledge of the business as well as the learning industry to deliver relevant solutions with impact
+ Builds strong relationships with HR and business partners and stakeholders
+ Works in conjunction with other internal learning partners, to leverage core-curriculum offerings and provide appropriate tailored solutions
+ Manages/supports all elements of design and end-to-end delivery of learning programs
+ Confidently and professionally facilitates learning that encourages learner engagement
+ Helps to market and communicate our learning strategy and solutions to the client with clarity
+ Maintains and ensures accuracy of all L&D related information (i.e., website info, reporting)
+ Brings a research-based, innovative and growth mindset to interactions and processes
**QUALIFICATIONS**
+ Bachelors Degree
+ 7-10 years of experience in Learning and Development within the Financial Services industry is preferred
+ Breadth of experience in needs assessments, instructional design, and end-to-end delivery for multiple modalities (e.g., classroom, virtual)
+ Experience in large, matrixed, and multinational organizations is preferred
+ Candidate should also demonstrate effective stand-up delivery / facilitation skills
