**Job Description:**



The Acquisition Manager II will manage a team that is responsible for Valuation Analytics and Model integration across the US Consumer and Small Business Credit Card Acquisition Strategies. Responsibilities include new account valuations, model documentation, and ongoing model management.



The manager will have the opportunity to manage model related inquiries across Acquisition Strategy areas with exposure to business partners and senior leadership, such as validating performance of models and evaluating Required Action Items from MRM, engaging with the model development team, MRM, and Credit Risk to understand model and strategy performance of new accounts.



The manager will be responsible for integrating strategy and finance expertise to drive profitability/loss breakeven analysis leveraging standard framework and selected data sources. This requires the manager to work closely with business partners to share risk data, understand strategy changes, and drive business transformation.



Strong analytical skills are required with extensive experience manipulating large data sets using SQL and SAS. This role also requires the development of data analysis to understand model performance and drive control enhancements.

**Required Skills:**



- Bachelors degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, engineering, economics, or a related quantitative discipline



- Proven analytical ability and problem solving skills as demonstrated through 5+ years related professional work experience



- 5+ years experience using database software and analytical/reporting tools, such as SAS, SQL to access large databases



- Strong working knowledge of the process and tools used for development, validation, implementation and documentation of credit risk and/or model management



- Proficient in MS Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)



- Be a team player and a thoughtful risk-taker



- Ability to communicate effectively and influence others to drive results



- Effective project management and organizational skills; ability to collaborate, manage, and expand relationships across the organization



**Desired Skills:**
