Who we are looking for
Individual should have at least a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and/or equivalent
5+ years Web UI development experience with at least 3+ years of financial industry experience.
Hands-on senior front end with demonstrated experience in JavaScript and React.js Web UI development framework
Excellent knowledge of core Web UI technologies including HTML5, JavaScript and CSS.
Experience and expert-level knowledge with TypeScript, Redux, Sagas, and related technology stack.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of Node.js and server-side frameworks such as Nest, GraphQL.
Experience and in-depth knowledge of JavaScript-based unit testing frameworks such Jest, Enzyme, React testing library.

You will be joining State Street Digital, our new division that combines advanced trading technology, best execution and servicing expertise with proprietary market research and insights to support clients in decentralized financial markets. Together with other teams across our company, you will be working on the evolution of our award-winning GlobalLink technology platform into a multi-asset solution that will include crypto, central bank digital currency, blockchain and tokenization.
You will have an opportunity to make an impact working directly on our FX Connect platform, an industry leading multi-bank sophisticated electronic FX trading system with real-time and complex workflow management components built on JEE and Oracle on the server side and state-of-the-art HTML5 / Web UI technologies on the front end, and real-time technologies such as websockets on the communication layer.
What you will be responsible for:
As FX Connect Web Application Developer, Assistant Vice President you will:
Development and maintenance of the FX Connect trading system
Design and development of the next generation of FX Connect Web UI using technologies such as React.js, HTML5, Redux, Sagas, and CSS
Understanding the complex FX Connect business flows, the impact of regulatory requirements on FX Connect, and effectively translating the business requirements into robust and performant implementation
Understanding the design and architecture of FX Connect ecosystem and adopting the code implementation to existing architecture
Development of unit tests using frameworks such as Jest, Enzyme
Collaborative work with FX Connect Product, QA, and system engineering teams focused on delivery of high-performance mission-critical applications used by major financial institutions worldwide
