**Responsibilities:**


+ Partnering with multiple technology teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals; identify and define necessary system enhancements; analyze existing system logic, identify problems; and recommend and implements solutions.

+ Provides expertise in area and an advanced level of understanding of the principles of apps support.

+ Formulates and defines systems scope and objectives for complex, high impact application enhancements and problem resolution through in-depth analysis and evaluation of complex business processes, systems and industry standards; documents requirements.

+ Partners with multiple technology areas and management teams to ensure appropriate integration of functions to meet goals.

+ Works closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts and Systems Analysts to determine and document Systems impacts and support requirements

+ Considers the implications of the application of technology to the current environment.

+ Identifies risks, vulnerabilities and security issues; communicates impact; proposes risk mitigation options.

+ Acts as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts; allocates work.

+ Provides in-depth analysis with interpretive thinking to define problems and develop innovative solutions.

+ Directly impacts the business by influencing strategic functional decisions through advice, counsel or provided services.

+ Persuades and influences others through strong and comprehensive communication and diplomacy skills

+ Performs other duties and functions as assigned

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.


**Application Experience:**


+ **7 years+ experience with working in a production support environment**

+ **Exposure to deployment tools like uDeploy, CHEF, Ansible. Experience in migrating applications to Containers.**

+ **Hands on experience on log aggregation, investigative tools like App Dynamics , ELK, Splunk and exposure to Machine learning concepts**

+ **Hands on experience in monitoring tools like ITRS**

+ **Effective in supporting Payments applications preferably in corporate banking.**

+ **Strong knowledge in ITIL practices in the area of Incident, Release, Change and Problem Management.**

+ Effective in handling communications across business and technology partners at varying levels across a large scale enterprise.

+ Prior experience in large scale enterprise application support, capacity planning, optimization, re-engineering, performance fine-tuning and cost optimization

+ Demonstrate accountability, independent initiatives and willingness to lead and work with teams across multiple locations and time-zones

+ Basic Networking knowledge (Load balancers, Firewalls, Network Protocols)

+ Ability to manage change and release implementation, review and sign off on the all application related changes and ensure all the changes are deployment within the stipulated timeline, ensure post implementation validation are performed.

+ Experience in using ServiceNow or other similar Incident/Change tracking system

+ Managing projects with accurate estimates, and preventing them from going overdue

+ Excellent strategic analysis, problem solving, issue resolution and decision-making skills

+ Experience in working under an on-site/off-shore support environment

+ Ability to build positive relationships in a multi-cultural environment across all levels in IT


**Technical Capabilities:**


+ **Hands on experience on Linux and Windows infrastructure.**

+ **Experience in writing basic Linux shell scripts, PowerShell scripts**

+ **Good understanding of webserver technologies like IIS, IHS, Apache**

+ **Good technical knowledge of Oracle, MSSQL, Mongo databases and knowledge in writing PL/SQL scripts**

+ **Good understanding of Java, .NET**

+ **Technical understanding of application servers like IBM Websphere, weblogic, TIBCO**

+ **Technical understanding of ETL tools like Abinitio**

+ **Technical understanding of messaging tools like NDM, SFTP, MQ, Tibco EMS, Kafka**

+ **Strong knowledge of Payments concepts (SWIFT Message types, Collection, Receivables, SEPA and Fast Payments)**

+ **Strong knowledge of batching tools like Auosys**

+ **Knowledge of DevOps tools like GitHub, teamCity, Maven, CHEF, Ansible, Jenkins, JFrog**


**Education:**


+ Bachelors/University degree, Masters degree preferred
