**Role Overview:**


The ICG technology is organized into Markets and Securities Services (MSST), Treasury and Trade Solutions (TTS), Citi Private Bank (CPB) and Information Services Group (ISG). Working in a highly dynamic and collaborative team, we are seeking an Application Support Senior Specialist to support all ICG application


This role presents an excellent opportunity for a successful candidate to develop a broad range of technical and soft skills, as well as the ability to develop a thorough understanding of the TTS business. You will gain significant experience of the advanced technologies used to run our business regionally and globally, giving you the vast exposure to new and existing methodologies and systems.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Managing, maintaining and supporting applications and their operating environments, focusing on stability, quality and functionality against service level expectations

+ To develop, maintain and enhance monitoring solutions, which will require scripting knowledge to create advanced monitoring solutions

+ To monitor and maintain platform stability during all business hours

+ Manage the relationship with development and infrastructure teams

+ Create and maintain a knowledge base to ensure that knowledge transfer takes place within the team

+ Develop and maintain technical support documentation

+ Perform same day risk reconciliations

+ Formulates and defines scope and objectives for complex application enhancements and problem resolution

+ Reviews and develops application contingency planning to ensure availability to users

+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency

**Technical Experience:**


+ 7+ years relevant work experience in technical production support roles preferably within a large scale, global financial services organization.

+ Flexible and being able to handle time effectively.

+ Experience installing, configuring, or supporting business applications.

+ Experience with some programming languages and willingness/ability to learn.

+ Strong working experience with Oracle, PL/ SQL and ability to write complex SQL queries.

+ Strong knowledge in Java, J2EE and supporting experience of Java, J2EE, IBM WebSphere based applications.

+ Good experience with Unix, Linux operating systems and ability to write Shell scripts.

+ Good experience with IBM WebSphere Message Queue, TIBCO EMS platforms.

+ Good experience in Cloud technologies and familiarity with Red Hat OpenShift platform, MongoDB, ActiveMQ.

+ Experience / Knowledge of Angular, Kafka and Microservice framework is a plus

+ Strong experience with ITIL process, ServiceNow, ITRS monitoring and AppDynamics tools.

+ Advanced execution capabilities and ability to adjust quickly to changes and re-prioritization

+ Effective written and verbal communications including ability to explain technical issues in simple terms that non-IT staff can understand.

+ Demonstrated analytical skills

+ Issue tracking and reporting using tools

+ Knowledge/ experience of problem Management Tools.

+ Good all-round technical skills

+ Effectively share information with other support team members and with other technology teams

+ Ability to plan and organize workload

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

+ Ability to communicate appropriately to relevant stakeholder

Master's / Bachelors degree.
