**Job Description**
The Applications Development Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
The successful candidate will be utilizing a range of Microsoft technologies including C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Web APIs, REST API, SQL Server / Oracle, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, and jQuery to develop, enhance and support enterprise class business critical applications.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Get involved in the entire life cycle of the automation projects.
+ Prepare High Level and Low-Level Design documents (HLD / LLD)
+ Understand Operations process and design and develop automation solutions
+ Support implementation of new automation development methodologies to transform operation processes
+ Develop automation scripts and ensure quality and optimized coding with proper documentation
+ Support for customer reviews / meetings, architectural review, coding, peer walkthroughs, testing, acceptance, delivery/installation, technical support and maintenance tasks
+ Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts, and basic knowledge of other technical areas to identify and define necessary system enhancements
+ Identify and analyze issues, make recommendations, and implement solutions
+ Utilize knowledge of business processes, system processes, and industry standards to solve complex issues
+ Analyze information and make evaluative judgements to recommend solutions and improvements
+ Conduct testing and debugging, utilize script tools, and write basic code for design specifications
+ Develop working knowledge of Citis information systems, procedures, standards, client server application development, network operations, database administration, systems administration, data center operations, and PC-based applications
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Job Skills/Qualifications**
Technical Skills
+ 5 plus years application systems development/maintenance experience
+ Experience in Developing Client Server Applications using Microsoft .NET Framework, C#, ASP.Net, MVC, Web APIs, REST API, ADO.Net, Entity Framework, and jQuery
+ Highly skilled at front-end web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
+ Experience in WinForms development
+ Experience in Web application automations (IE applications)
+ Experience in Emulators like IBM PCOMM for Mainframe automation
+ Experience with Relational databases like Oracle and SQL Server
+ Experience with Git, Bitbucket, Jenkins, and RLM is a plus
+ Experience in software automation development using Selenium is a plus.
+ Experience in Robotic Process Automation (RPA) is an added advantage
+ Strong understanding of object-oriented analysis and design, design patterns, high availability, and concurrent programming
+ Experience with Agile methodology
+ Experience in systems analysis and programming of software applications
+ Knowledge in PowerShell scripting and SharePoint is a plus
