ABC News 20/20 award-winning prime-time news magazine is hiring an Associate Producer to provide logistical and editorial support for all aspects of long-form production. From true crime mysteries, exclusive newsmaker interviews and high-profile stories, the AP will collaborate with show producers to cover and create content. The AP will also be responsible for booking guests, setting up and participating in field shoots, gathering and organizing new elements and archive video, and supporting editors during the pre- and post-production process. Candidates are expected to be able to travel at times and join our breaking news 20/20 specials.
**Basic Qualifications:**
+ Prior experience with long-form video production a plus
+ Basic knowledge of non-linear editing (Avid/Adobe) a plus
+ Excellent communication, organization skills, attention to detail is essential
+ Strong editorial judgment
+ Booking guests
+ Field experience including working with crews and conducting of interviews.
+ Understanding of production technologies in both pre- and post- production.
+ Easily multitasks and adapts quickly to changing priorities
+ Knowledge of archival and digital resources
**Preferred** **Qualifications** **:**

+ Experience working with court clerks/court houses to obtain documents is a plus
