**About the team**


The Balance Sheet Management (BSM) unit is a division within Treasury and is part of Citigroups broader Finance organization. The Capital Management team within BSM recommends Capital Policy design to Capital Committee including capital targets and buffers and manages capital distribution strategy; designs the methodologies for allocating capital limits and attributing capital usage to businesses; and leads the design and delivery of portfolio management reporting and analytical capabilities to support Treasurys securities portfolios.


**About the role**


The Balance Sheet Management Senior Lead Analyst is responsible for supporting development of capital strategy and the implementation of the Capital Policy. Examples include establishing and monitoring capital resource levels and monitoring capital ratios to assess and analyze trends to recommend optimal capital actions as part of Citigroups capital actions framework.


**Responsibilities:**


+ Monitors and assesses capital metrics to recommend source corrective actions and ongoing capital distribution strategy to achieve capital goals and plan

+ Evaluate, enhance, and document capital management execution and operating model including interaction within Finance and Independent Risk Management and anticipating business and technical requirements

+ Requires both individual analytical work as well as partnership across teams to identify solutions to business inquiries in a timely manner and own the implementation / execution steps to autonomously drive open issues to completion.

+ Directs project prioritization, platform direction, and future state planning and strategic direction.

+ Prepare and manage the operationalization (e.g. materials, follow-up actions/decisions, meeting minutes) of capital management / attribution senior management and Board-level committee as well as for audit and regulatory communication

+ Partner with internal teams to support on-time delivery of program requirements and administration of issues and corrective actions as well as controls management.


**Qualifications:**


+ Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred, in finance, economics, accounting, or a related discipline

+ 6-10 years of relevant experience in the financial services industry with either a large financial institution or consulting firm

+ Experience with effective coordination and stakeholder communication for senior management and governance committees

+ Ability to review policy documents and methodologies to translate into requirements

+ Proven track record in managing high priority strategic/regulatory projects

+ Proficiency with standard analysis tools (Microsoft Word / PowerPoint / Excel / Access)

+ Possess strong interpersonal and communication, and written skills as well as problem solving and solution development skills

+ Demonstrate technical capabilities and industry knowledge of key US and global regulatory issues such as Basel III and CCAR (SR 15-18) and control frameworks for policies/standards/procedures
