The Financial Planning and Analysis Lead Analyst is a senior professional role responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citis financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to contribute to directional strategy as well as utilize in-depth specialty knowledge to provide advice/counsel on the evaluation of financial reports of Citis current and projected performance.
The ICG Loans & Cost of Credit FP&A team works across ICG Finance, Citi Finance, and business to provide meaningful analytics on the firms lending book across balance sheet and capital usage as well as the resulting P&L. The team provides analytical support to the LFOs and businesses, which assists in making strategic decisions and providing insight around financial and non financial drivers of performance. The team also works very closely with independent Risk with respect to the projection, reporting and analysis of the provision for credit losses.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Create financial reports and meet with finance team to clearly summarize financial trends and provide insight to senior management.
+ Manage and coordinate CCAR / QMMF process for the lending businesses of ICG, including end-to-end review across the various lending products to ensure appropriate level of consistency in approach and outputs.
+ Lead on the coordination with Transformation and Central teams on the calendar and enhancements initiatives.
+ Ensure consistent and proper setup in RUBY system across ICG lending models. Work with Ruby and modeling team to ensure the readiness of the system for the cycle.
+ Prepare presentations and analysis for the team supporting the CFO.
+ Generate analytics for quarter end flash results and related highlights.
+ Lead the effort on the automations and reporting initiatives.
+ Develop and maintain relationships with key partners and senior management to influence behavior and decision making
+ Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision.
+ Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy.
+ Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications:**
+ Relevant experience in the Financial Services industry. Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis is preferred.
+ Exceptional analytical skills, combined with an ability to deliver analysis in a concise manner.
+ Proficient computer skills with a focus on Microsoft Office applications
+ Knowledge in additional systems including Ruby, IFW, and Essbase
+ Excellent communication skills (written / verbal)
+ Demonstrated presentation skills
**Education:**
+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Masters degree preferred
