The Applications Development Senior Programmer Analyst is an intermediate level position responsible for participation in the establishment and implementation of new or revised application systems and programs in coordination with the Technology team. The overall objective of this role is to contribute to applications systems analysis and programming activities.
**Responsibilities:**
+ Hands on Coding experience on BigData Spark Java, Hadoop, Hive .
+ Should be good at data models and have an understanding of relational database systems.
+ Some experience with query development tools like PL/SQL Developer or the like
+ Must be able to understand requirements & convert to technical design and code
+ Has very good troubleshooting and debugging skills, easily understand the logs and configurations and provide solution of the issues on all infra and configuration related activities.
+ Open to feedback and constructive thought process. Recommend and execute improvements
+ Easily mingle with team and has positive attitude towards work. Need to be involved in capacity planning and infra procurement with tech leads and infrastructure management teams.
+ Create technical documentation for reference and reporting.
**Qualifications:**
+ Over 9-12 years of experience in Java, Bigdata technologies, CI and CD tools, Configuration and Release Management, deployments and troubleshooting environments.
+ Experience with Linux and Java and Big Data systems.
+ Experience with Linux systems and hands on shell scripting.
+ Excellent documentation and presentation skills.
+ Think out of Box to create solutions
**Education:**
+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
