Play a crucial role in driving the next-gen forwarding plane to power the 5G ecosystem and beyond. The architecture of this new data plane needs to be based on cloud native principles. It will fuel the data speeds for multiple product lines across Cisco, starting with mobility, BNG and expanding its horizons as we progress on this journey. You will also get chance to work on the latest smart NIC acceleration technologies to further boost the never dying data throughput requirements of todays world. As part of this team, you would play a critical role in designing, developing, troubleshooting and debugging phase of this solution.

Key Technical Skillsets:

- Experience in Cloud Native Technologies (e.g. Kubernetes, docker/containers etc.)

- Linux, IPv4/IPv6 experience, IP, TCP/UDP, HTTP/HTTPS, socket programming

- Knowledge of atleast 1 routing protocol knowledge(RIP, BGP, OSP etc)

- Experience with any Open source data plane would be an advantage

- Experience with Security/IPsec would be an added advantage

- Mobility/Packet Core 4G/5G exprience or Networking datapath will be a strong plus

- Multithread programming and command on OS concepts

- Excellent design and coding skills in C on linux platform

- Hands-on with the design/coding/UT ensuring high quality feature delivery in planned timeline

Non-Technical Skills:
