Citis Global ATM & Citishare In-Business Control Unit drives Operational Risk and Control issues within Private Bank Wealth Management (PBWM) Operations & Fraud Prevention. In-Business Control is responsible to foster a collaborative control environment, end to end. Maintaining a culture of control, customer centricity and accountability by leading efforts to identify, anticipate and mitigate regulatory, reputational, and operational risks



The PMWM Operations & Fraud Prevention Compliance Business Control Senior Analyst applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing the improvement of processes and workflow for the area. Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps, interprets data and makes recommendations. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures, or practices.









Responsibilities:



+ Pro-active Operational Risk Identification & Remediation. Conduct periodic reviews of Operational processes to ensure that the embedded controls are working effectively.

+ CAP Management work with Operations to monitor CAPs for timely closure (due < 90days); act as a source of advice on CAP wording and target dates and provide updates/reporting to stakeholders

+ Partner with Operations to ensure Key Risk Indicators are appropriate to provide continual monitoring of the control environment.

+ Contribute to initiatives to address Global Policy. Influence changes where appropriate

+ On an ongoing basis identify and focus on themes and trends, and partnering with Operations to ensure potential control issues are proactively addressed

+ Contribute to the advancement of the Global ATM & Citishare control environments through participation in cross function projects

+ Membership of control committees such as MPP, Fraud, deviations and creation of when need identified / or be involved in Global IS initiatives such as Encryption, MPP, Sanctions etc..

+ Timely & accurate reporting of key control metrics

+ Citishare / Global ATM Risk and Control Forum material preparation

+ Participation in Regional Controls meetings, BRCC submissions - Ensure significant local issues are included in reporting

+ Identify event themes and share with Operations

+ Identify opportunities to continually enhance the controls environment and framework across Global ATM & Citishare and drive implementation with the support of Controls Senior management.






Qualifications:



+ 5-8 years of control and/or project experience

+ High attention to detail and quality

+ Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.

+ Effective planning and organizational skills

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel

+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skills

+ Proven ability to make sound business decisions

+ Experience in creating and implementing processes that result in improved business performance

+ Ability to present a compelling case for ideas and initiatives through listening and articulating a convincing point of view






Education:



+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
