This role will be responsible for investigating, researching, and maintaining a reference data inventory and tracking the maturity of reference data adoption across the enterprise to assist and drive adoption. This role will partner closely with the Federated CDOs and Information Technology to identify, track and find opportunities to improve Reference Data flows from both a business and technical perspective.
This role will partner closely with the Federated Functional and Business CDO organizations to identify and track Reference Data and identify opportunities to improve Reference data sourcing and consumption with program deliveries. The scope will initially focus on Enterprise Customer, Product Master, and Business Entity Master, but will also ensure appropriate levels of integration and capabilities across all Reference data domains.
Responsibilities:
+ Review and examine current and future state reference data process and architectures with an eye towards continuous improvement
+ Proactively seek opportunities to assist in with communicating and tracking the adoption roadmap and implementation processes, technologies, and reporting.
+ Investigate and compile reference data and reference data authoring systems across the enterprise with relevant metadata, including definitions, lineage, ownership, etc.
+ Participate in the definition of adoption metrics and establish an understating of available data to develop and operationalize tactical and strategic reporting
+ Work with key stakeholders to define success, develop supporting metrics and then build visualization and analytics
+ Assist in executing processes associated with change management and the SDLC to ensure the inventory is current
+ Collaborate with stakeholders and technology partners regarding the best methods to Implement tools and processes to establish and monitor the Reference Data Inventory
+ Close collaboration with data governance and data stewards for adoption of policies, controls, and programs to ensure the enterprise data is accurate, complete, secure, and reliable.
+ Identify and expedite resolution of issues through to root cause analysis and continuous improvement practices
+ Develop and build strong working partnerships across functions, businesses, and technology to align implementation and operational strategies
Qualifications:
+ Experience in Master Data Management or Reference Data or data analytics & process engineering
+ Experience with metadata tooling including but not limited data dictionaries; lineage tools; ETL tools; scanning; metadata management or ER modeling in general
+ Participation in complex data management solutions including experience with various stages of implementation from requirements gathering through design and implementation
+ Experience with change management, SDLC, business process engineering
+ Financial service acumen or experience to lead large cross functional initiatives
+ Excellent relationship management, communication, and presentation skills
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
+ Ability to bring clarity to challenging problems and to help others engage in and embrace a solution.
+ Able to leverage strong business acumen to effectively interact with senior leaders and a broad variety of stakeholders.
+ Adaptable, flexible, and able to respond to changes in priorities.
Preferred:
+ Experience in ICG and/or PBWM, Wholesale and/or Retail banking
+ 3+ years of experience
