Who were looking for The Brand Designer for 1PBNA 2North Division Design is an experienced designer who will participate in the research and development of total brand identities - from packaging, visual identify to total brand experience. The main objective of this role is to help execute major brand design projects, strategies, and innovations. This means assisting in the planning, organization and implementation of consistent design principles and processes to ensure that the design, strategy and production guardrails are met. This involves management and execution of work streams for key brand and graphic design projects within our PBNA Division portfolio. Successful candidates will demonstrate superior ability to drive design thinking from ideation thru concept development, refinement, and execution. Creating high quality brand design solutions by directly executing design and leveraging internal/external design resources. In this role, you will use design thinking capabilities and apply these methodologies to help drive projects from ideation to execution. This role partners closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to deliver industry leading brand design solutions. ACCOUNTABILITIES: Creative: Strong understanding of brand design, graphic design, packaging design and 360-degree integrated communication design Great sketching skills and idea development techniques to create and communicate concepts Work cross-functionally throughout the PBNA North Division, and Design Center to support the Innovation and Design Collaborative, able to ideate and construct ideas within a team-based design environment Technically solid, able to illuminate ideas and visualize design stories across a variety of media Ideally has a background in design for consumer brands, and supplemental experience in media, entertainment, lifestyle, sports Technically solid, able to illuminate ideas and visualize design stories across a variety of established and emerging digital platforms Excellent understanding of brand design, identity design, graphic design, illustration, photography, and digital/social media design Strong understanding of customer marketing, retail marketing, and retail experience design Strong knowledge of mechanical art file preparation or production considerations that help preserve brand saliency Process: Generate creative design proposals (visions, scenarios, concepts) to visualize the desired output and share it with internal and external team members Participate in research activities and effectively translate customer needs into actionable design strategy (must be able to execute those requirements into design solutions). Help drive to final design recommendations, decisions, and design approval to enable artwork execution/production phases. Ensure thorough consideration of all project variables and that the final solution will perform as planned. Support the visual identity for Pepsico Beverages working in collaboration with the PBNA North Division Senior Design Manager and other design leaders across brand, product, packaging, equipment, marketing, and advertising.
