We provide public sector agencies, staff, service providers, clients and community partners training, research and consultant support for professional and programmatic development. We deliver cost-effective, customer-oriented solutions that are tailored to meet unique needs and situations.
Instructional designer (ID) will contribute to team projects that produce training courses and materials for online instructor-led and asynchronous courses. The ID will work with subject matter experts, customers, and Curriculum Developers (CDs) to analyze training needs, design and develop course content and materials, and evaluate outcomes. The ID will train new CDs. The ID will perform quality assurance reviews of courses created in the Department of Human Services (DHS) Learning Management System (LMS).
Duties:
Conduct training needs analysis with stakeholders
Evaluate existing trainings and how training materials are saved
Initiate a quality assurance program on CDs digital storing practices of customer's materials
Review CDs materials to ensure quality
Tests courses for functionality in DHS LMS
Create multimedia materials for online learning
Trains new CDs
Performs other duties as required.
Remote work is an available option with occasional mandatory work or meetings at the Sequoyah Building 2400 N Lincoln Blvd, Oklahoma City, OK 73105
Required Education: Required:Bachelor's degree AND
24 months experience working in an instructional design position.
Equivalency/Substitution: Will accept 48 months of related experience in lieu of the Bachelor's degree for a total of 72 monthsof related experience.
Skills:
Experience designing college level curriculum, especially the development of a full curriculum preferred
Experience with online learning and/or the development of online curriculum highly valued
Demonstrated project management skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collegially with other staff members.

Departmental Preferences:
Master's degree in Instructional Design
