Summary



Mission Technologies, a division of HII is currently seeking a Distributed Mission Operations (DMO) Mission Planner to support the 132nd Combat Training Squadron (CTS), Distributed Training Operations Center (DTOC) located in Des Moines, Iowa.


The Mission Planner will provide operational and tactical level experience in integrated employment during DMO event planning and execution.





What you will do



Provide operational and tactical level experience in integrated employment during DMO event mission planned and execution. Applies emerging doctrine and tactics, whether detailed in formal doctrinal changes or emanating from Advanced Warfighting Experiments (AWEs), Advanced Technology Demonstrations (ATDs), or Force XXI activities, to mission scenarios design and development. Duties include, but are not limited to:



+ Create and distribute mission-planning packages as directed by the Government and coordinated with training partners.


+ Create scenarios within DTOCs environment generator software.


+ Provide subject matter expertise supporting DMO training events


+ Conduct mission briefing, execution and debriefing and post mission documentation


+ Coordinate with Network Operations Center (NOC) personnel for Event Control Center (ECC) set-up


+ Support will be required on the some ANG Drill weekends






What we are looking for



6 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 4 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 10 years relevant experience.



+ Current or previous qualifications within the last 5 years in any of the following areas of expertise:


+ Tactical Air Control Party (TACP)


+ Joint Tactical Air Controller (JTAC)


+ Unmanned Aerial Vehicle Pilot (MQ-9)




+ Working knowledge on use of stimulation software such as Next Generation Threat System (NGTS), Combat Environment Server (CES), Modern Air Combat Environment (MACE), Virtual Reality Scene Generator (VRSG), etc


+ Support will be required on the ANG Drill weekends


+ Secret Security Clearance









Preferred: Bonus Points For...




+ 3 years experience supporting operational training in a DMO environment.


+ Top Secret Security Clearance.






Physical Requirements


Job performance will normally require only minor lifting and carrying of boxes of records or equipment.
