We are looking for a talented Electrical Systems Engineer - Hardware to join our team specializing in Engineering for our Components Business Segment in Columbus, IN / Hybrid to your remote home office.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
Work with the Current Product Support team to help manage the needs of Electronic Control Module from outside suppliers
Work day-to-day to as a technical liaison between Cummins internal teams/stakeholders, and the external suppliers
Help external suppliers with the technical specification needs as they design and manufacturing control modules
Will be responsible for capturing the needed technical requirements from customers, and implementing those requirements into the projects, and handling request for design changes
Will handle several projects concurrently within the Electronic Controls Modules / Current Product Support
Aide in the further development and changes for existing products, ranging from minor tweaks to large scale changes
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
Must have a College or University degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineering, or related field of study
Must have a minimum of at least two years work experience in a similar or related role
Must have a strong working knowledge of MS Office Suite
Candidate with work background working in Project Management are highly preferred
