The Financial Planning and Analysis Group Manager is a senior management level position responsible for providing management with an analysis and insight of Citis financial results in coordination with the broader Finance team. The overall objective is to manage professional team and apply analytical thinking/knowledge of data analysis methodologies to create and analyze reports that gauge Citis alignment with forecasted performance. The role will provide Retail Bank Deposit and Product Finance support, interfacing daily with Retail Bank line-of-business partners, Treasury, Marketing, BP&A (Business Planning & Analysis), Decision Management, and Model Risk Management (MRM)
**Responsibilities:**
+ Provide financial, analytical and strategic support to the Consumer Banking business, and in particular the Consumer Deposit team.
+ Perform Deposit portfolio modeling and forecasting of Consumer Banking Deposit Balances and related Revenues for Flash, Outlook, Plan, CCAR, etc.
+ Support the Head of Consumer Product and other product leads on key business initiatives such as product development and provide financial insight and support.
+ Prepare monthly financial statements/documents/presentations, conduct variance analysis and provide insight for reviews with senior management
+ Partner with Pricing Team in developing the financial impact of customer interest and re-pricing initiatives as well as various investment projects
+ Partner with Corporate Treasury in developing balance targets and transfer pricing and NIM projections
+ Manage and enhance Deposit product models used for Plan and CCAR purposes, working closely with MRM/Risk and Controls
+ Work closely with Controllers and Financial Reporting Operations to ensure general ledger reflects current management view
+ Partner with Marketing, Business Planning & Analysis, and Decision Management to understand deposit balance flow and performance metrics ( _Deposit Flows, Marketing Campaign performance, customer behaviors, retention efforts,..._ )
+ Manage a team of finance professionals and work closely with off-shore partners in Costa Rica and Mumbai to accomplish established goals
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
**Qualifications:**
+ 5-7 years of experience preferably in a financial analysis role supporting business financial planning functions
+ Strong intellectual curiosity
+ Excellent quantitative and analytical skills, and ability to focus closely on details
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
+ Ability to create/manage complex financial worksheets and analyze and present results in executive ready decks
+ Strong Excel/Essbase/PowerPoint knowledge required.
+ Must be highly efficient, organized and motivated
+ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, and as a part of a team

+ Bachelors degree/University degree or equivalent experience
+ Masters degree in Finance or Accounting preferred
