Citibank, N.A. seeks a Financial Planning & Analysis Lead Analyst for its New York, New York location.
Duties: Responsible for financial analysis & forecasting, financial modeling, strategic planning, and business development activities in support of Cards and lending products. Monitor & analyze the portfolios drivers and P&L performance versus expectations, and effectively communicate key highlights to Cards and Finance senior management through weekly and monthly forums. Establish analytical framework and develop business cases to support financially sound strategic decisions for product-related investment opportunities, and drive changes to customer product offerings & pricing to improve customer retention and positive-select. Partner in the development & monitoring of the marketing investment decisioning process and financial projections, as well as driving expense discipline. Analyze card portfolios capital profile and ensure efficiency in capital planning and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Apply knowledge of Treasury management to assess interest rate risk and funding strategy to inform forecast of Cards Profit & Loss (P&L) based on rates impact. Ensure day to day operations have proper risk & controls governance processes in place to minimize and mitigate financial and operational risks.
Requirements: Requires a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Accounting, Finance or related field and four (4) years of experience as a Financial Management Associate, Finance Associate, Finance Reporting Senior Analyst, Finance Analyst, Finance Intern or related position for a global financial services institution. 4 years of experience must include: Risks & controls oversight and governance. Additionally, 1 year of experience must include: Capital planning; Financial modeling, financial analysis & forecasting; Treasury management including interest rate risk and funding strategy; and Strategy development and decision support.
