Business Banking offers strategic advice and integrated financial solutions to U.S. companies with annual revenues of $5 million to $50 million. Global Commercial Banking provides treasury, lending, leasing, investment banking, risk management and international subsidiary banking services to middle-market U.S. companies with revenues of $50 million to $2 billion across all major industries.
The Commercial Banking Strategy team supports the leadership of these two award-winning businesses in pursuit of Bank of America's purpose to help make financial lives better, through the power of every connection.
Our growing team is comprised of former management consultants and corporate strategy practitioners, who are responsible for leading and incubating critical strategy and transformation efforts. Typical engagements are commissioned and sponsored by our Business CEOs and other Management Team Members, and developed in close collaboration with our business, product, and function partners. Our Head of Strategy reports directly to the Business Banking and Global Commercial Banking CEOs, is a member of their respective Executive Leadership teams, and is accountable to them for driving the strategic direction of our businesses.
This role is equivalent to an Associate/Jr. Engagement Manager/Case Team Lead title at some strategy consulting firms or a Senior Associate title at some financial services companies.

**What you'll do**
+ Own and drive 1-2 modules within broader strategy engagement with some oversight from more senior Strategy team members
+ Help influence our businesses' strategic direction and agenda with direction from other senior Strategy and business leaders
+ Bring in new, innovative ideas with the goal of self-disrupting current business models and product offerings
+ Build relationships with key members on partner teams across the bank to source information and validate hypotheses
**What you'll bring to the team**
+ Minimum 4 years professional experience; 2+ years in a corporate development or strategy group of a financial services firm, management consulting firm, investment bank or private equity firm
+ Track record of excellence and achievement
+ Strong problem solving and analytical skills; high level of comfort with numbers and financial modeling
+ Knowledge of financial services; commercial banking and capital markets knowledge is a plus
+ Entrepreneurial initiative, coupled with commitment to highest quality standards and attention to detail
+ Team player able to bring together people and perspectives for new solutions, build confidence and trust
+ Strong presence, executive communication, and relationship building skills
+ Ability to work with changing deadlines and competing priorities
+ Undergraduate degree required; MBA or advanced business degree from a top-tier institution is a plus
