Thompson Hospitality is seeking a talented individual to join their marketing team as a Graphic Design and Brand Manager. This position will work directly with the Marketing Department creating compelling concepts for print and digital collateral, work simultaneously on multiple projects based on restaurant needs, and manage print supply through third party vendors.
At Thompson Hospitality we see graphic design as visual storytelling that engages, informs, and inspires. We are looking for a highly creative graphic designer who can take conceptual ideas and create visual representations, both in print and electronic media. Our ideal candidate will have expert knowledge of current design software and skilled with every step of the design process from concept to the final deliverable. Collaborating with multiple teams at our company, the graphic designer should be able to take direction from written or spoken ideas and convert them into a design that connects. The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of branding and marketing, with the ability to vary style and layouts depending on the project. Responsible for:
Website design, maintenance and updates
Menu visuals, templates, communication materials and collateral
Meal Plan selling campaign collateral
Themed meals marketing collateral & manager's guides for residential dining
Marketing collateral & manager's guides for retail promotions
Catering sales marketing collateral & materials
Client Business Review / Annual Business Review / Thompson presentations On-Site Graphic Design Requests
Development of internal brand design and standards
Marketing collateral for all marketing, training and overall materials
Support design materials needed for video production and social media channels
Design elements for Forward magazine and all design-oriented materials
Video Production and Design
Skills Required:
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
Technical skill and proficiency with specialized graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
Detail-oriented with strong project management skills
Ability to think beyond traditional design concepts and generate design ideas that inspire and captivate consumers and satisfy the requirements of clients
Knowledge of HTML and basic coding used in web design
